Can you imagine having to listen to all those people who audition who think they can sing when they can't carry a tune. I would be in pain to and popping a few pain pills. This is a big night for them she may also have jet lag or something. But as some others have stated Paula is on very strong pain pills due to problems that ended her career. She is suposed to have a very painful nerve damage problem I think.

no she definately look like she was on something. I swear after all those surgery she was on, she is addicted to pain pills. I heard this morning on the news a clip of her talking to the seattle press and they said she was on something there too.

She did look terrible and she was acting so weird. And if she doesn't want to hear these people try out, then she shouldn't be a judge! I know the contestants were terrible but she should know by now that this is how it is during try outs!

That's not nice. Paula is just really tired of all of these horrible singers comming on stage thinking that they can sing. It is horrible how bad these people are. At least they found a few good people so far. Nobody that I really like yet.

She's hardly saying anything at all so far this season. I think that's an improvement though on the unintelligible junk she normally spews. Definitiely think she is on something

I know!! I noticed that too! I also seen a clip of her doing an interview for a news station...she was DEFINITELY on something! You can find it on Youtube.com. Of course if I had to listen to all the "screaming" for hours on end, I'd want to be doing it while I was high on something also...lol

I agree with you. She didn't act like herself last night when I watched it. She didn't say much at all and she just kept giving those weird looks.

Yeah, I read somewhere that she suffers from reflex sympathetic dystrophy. If this is true, she does have chronic type pain. She sure seemed to be distracted on the show the other night. Haha, she did an interview for a Seattle news station the other night and she was definitely drunk. You could tell...and the next night they said that Paula issued a statement saying that she wasn't under the influence of anything...yeah right! You could tell by the interview that she was drunk. She was laughing and acting all goofy... I missed the premiere last night :( I totally forgot about it, but I really wouldn't be surprised if she was drunk last night, too!
