An Inconvenient Truth. It is a movie about the earth, the environment, our climate and its changes. There were different reactions that arose since that movie has been released.
Have you watched it or heard of it? Do you have something to say about it? If you get a chance to talk to Al Gore, what would you say to him?

The thing I would like to say to Al Gore: Thanks for trying to inform people and please make the movie freely available on the internet.
I feel the facts have been provided very clearly in the movie (I like to call it a documentary).
After the movie came out, I have seen so many TV shows making a statement about the environment and these are regular TV series not talk shows and documentaries.
I am doing a lot more since I saw the movie. Simple things like switching off appliances at the wall socket, doing my laundry at a colder setting.
I read an article in one of the american papers totally discrediting the movie, I was furious. Sent an email to the journalist and guess what I have had no reply. Then again Mr. Gore is a politician and you will see the influences of political rivalry in such publications.

I think that An Inconvenient Truth is the most important film of our generation! Hands down! That is of course, unless you're not really from planet Earth. I mean, c'mon - it's our only home and no one seems to even freakin care! It's awful what we are doing and we CAN do something - we just have to stop being so darned lazy and actually do something. Change out our light bulbs, use less electricity, carpool, and seriously do those things. We also need to voice to our poloticians that there must be laws created limiting the use of a vehicle for personal reasons. Wow! That's a stretch. But eventually we will have no choice - act now or leave our children an uninhabitable planet - an ice age may only be 50 years away - no joke! Thankfully, hybrids and electric cars are a help, but only the wealthy can actually buy one of those cars and basically only if you care, will you buy one. I think that eventually the change must come from our politicians - maybe in another generation, if every present-day child is required to see this film, maybe just maybe, laws can be written which require more coherent public transportation and less private vehicle use. Ever driven in the express lane (HOV lane) in a city and seen how many single passenger cars are cloggin our highways? That just simply does not make sense! But everyone is so busy doing their own thing and fact is that doing something about it would be INCONVENIENT! Thus the use of the word in the title of the film. Caring about the environment has become inconvenient because our lives have conversely become convenient.
We must tell everuone we know to see the film - that's a start atleast. Then do something - for real!

I've seen it. I always knew global warming was an issue but this movie has opened my eyes to the seriousness of it. If I were to meet Al Gore I'd say how much the movie has ment to me and would love to help in the fight to educate people about global warming. I would love to be able to go to schools all over and talk about global warming and ditribute the movie.

Truly there is a dramatic change in environment of the earth. The human must take the whole responsibility, but some people argue that this is not due to human, it is natural for the earth to go through many cold and hot cycles. Whatever be it is atleast we should contribute something towards this !

In the US we are getting better about pollution but we still have a longs ways to go.. The plactic bags have been the target of the environmentalist..They will be banned soon as they are too many going into the landfills..
I voted for Al Gore but countries like China are far worse then most of the world combined..it will not be easy even for the Philippines to start picking up their garbage..as in Negros Occidental, Bacolod City where we own a home for vacationing there is always garbage left out to rot..and not picked up..so sad.
