The star rating works on "reputation". You haven't been here long enough. Have a look at some of the other stars, and their profiles. Some have over 1000 posts, and stars with 4. Some have been here for a few weeks, like me. You'll probably be a 10 by this time next week. Enjoy.

Well it looks like you are up to a 9 now :) I was 9 for awhile and I think I finally got to 10! Don't know exactly how it works, but I have seen that it does help. If I see people with 1000s of posts, but a low star rating, I guess they are probably cheaters or otherwise not posting good responses.

I don't think that is how they're supposed to work, but I'm not sure. I haven't even worked myself up to a star yet. lol I am sure they don't hate you already! :) I think that maybe people haven't rated your topics and that might be why? I'm not overly sure.

Actually, when you originally posted this, you were rated only a 2 because of your "reputation on the site" and not because people hated you or anything. Now you're a 9, and I suppose that's because you have been getting lots of positive ratings on your discussions and replies!
Keep up the good work, cutie, and you'll soon have a golden 10 in a star!

This is nice, looking on your profile I see you have good discussions and posts, I think you will have a good rating from now on. I started with 9 since the rating system started and it stayed that way, I guess 7 to 10 will be ok for me any time if it fluctuate, we are here to voice our own true opinions even if some people will not like it and retaliate by rating us in - rate, I don't care as there are many other intelligent people who can equalize this and I think I can always keep a decent rating. :) have a good day at mylot :)
