Don't lord it over your wife. Love her by serving her and helping her. Keep telling her that you love her, even on the days when that's hard to do. When you have arguments, always make up and say you're sorry. And forgive her if she asks for forgiveness. We made a rule many years ago never to walk out of the house when we were arguing. It's hard, but it means we stay within listening distance of each other.
