Heya, Is anyone here using Mozilla Thunderbird as their email handler?
I have just started to use it a few days ago for a few reasons but mostly just to check it out and I have found that it runs quite a bit slower than Outlook Express which i was using before.
I am wondering if it was just me or if anyone else has experienced this?
If you do use it or have, what do you like or dislike about it?
Thanks in advance for responding, Tanika.

I am a Mozilla ThunderBird user for quite sometime now, configured with 2 company emails, 3 gmails and a bunch of newsfeeds, its a bit slower than Outlook Express but Im quite satisfied with it because you can have addons added to it, the Junk Mail function is very usefull and its secure compared to Outlook Express

I'm using Mozila Thunderbird. I admit it's a bit slower, maybe cause im using it to manage 2 email accounts. and i do install some off plugin and extension. How about you ? are you using it just to manage 1 email account? Maybe it depends on your pc/notebook configuration too. Just like im running my firefox with a bunch of extension installed. sure it's take some time to start it for the first time.

yeah Im using it to manage three email accounts but it just seems slower with opening windows and stuff, more than outlook express anyway. I also have many extensions on it and will prolly stick with it for a while as i do like it. I also have a really old computer.
