Could you tell me how do we configure an LAN network if I am having 512Kbps internet connection & have to distribute to my three friends. Thanks in advance. Have a nice day.

you need to have a hardware which can share your internet connection with your friends. you'll need a router and LAN card or WLAN card (a wi-fi enabled NIC and router is recommended),then install the WLAN card to each of your friends CPU and configure the router.
