Does anybody else have similar problems with the Norton Antivirus? It seems that it slows down the system quite a bit. I get very frustrated when I have to wait a long time to do anything. Any suggestions to remedy this?

deacon if you want to have a much more reliable antivirus and that doesn't eat up system resources try nod32.it's fast,eats up less resources and cleans effectively. ^_^

deacon actually there is a program that both recover and repair bad sectors in your hard disk .. it's called spinrite, it scans your hard disk for errors and it makes sure that it runs perfectly and error free :)
