I don't put on makeup on weekends or when I'm not leaving the house, it's bad for your skin for one thing. I've scaled way back on what make up I use going to work too. Just a bronzer and mascara. Absolutely no mascara during the weekends as it's bad for the eyelashes. Now I find my eyelashes don't fall out as much.
I also found that I get more "interest" from guys when not wearing much or any makeup, and the guys I get interest from seem to be more interested in me, less from the narcissistic bad boys.

really? mascara is bad for your lashes? I didn't know that. I don't think I have had a problem of my lashes falling out.

I used to work for a company that made chemicals for cosmetics, it will dry your lashes out eventually.

With 3 kids I am lucky if I have a chance to eat & get dressed let alone put make-up on. My husband has never made a comment about me not wearing make-up. I think he would worry more if he came home & I had it on lol. If we go someplace nice I will put it on & that is enough for him.

Your comment is hysterical! I agree with you 100%. I think my husband would be very nervous if he came home and I had makeup on. I have enough trouble getting out of my pajamas and the thought of wearing pj's and makeup just isn't that appealling~ Kudos

Not usually. I don't wear makeup very much as it is so my hubby is used to me looking like this. In fact, when we got married (10 years ago), he couldn't wait to get to the hotel so I could get the makeup off! Ha! And I wasn't wearing much at all. It was very natural looking.

It depends. Some days I just don't feel like putting makeup on, and it's nice to not have to worry about it. Other days I'll put it on even if I'm not leaving the house. It just depends on how I feel. My husband always tells me I don't need makeup to be beautiful anyway, so I really don't feel like I need makeup to be attractive to him.
I still take a shower every morning and keep myself clean and fresh, but sometimes I just don't feel like putting makeup on!

I didn't use to, until my sister gave me a book called, "Simple Abundance" & in it-- it talks about being our authentic selves & it says no matter what your day is like.. get up every morning and get dresses in nice clothes & put on make-up so you can feel good about yourself. That really is true, when I just woke up and kept my sweats on and a old shirt-- I just kinda felt different-- compared to when I was dressed up nice-- it's a good feeling. I agree, it's still important to take care of yourself & to look goodf or your husband :) I recommend this book--it is a guide book of comfort and joy.

I usually prefer makeup when going outside, everytime you are putting makeup you are hiding your natural beauty that is why I am not using makeup when i am inside........

some people use makeup to cover flaws like pimples and scars and stuff like that.

Well, I never felt the need to put on makeup if I wasn't leaving the house and certainly not for my husband
he's already seen me au naturel anyways. I don't wear much when I go out, it's so hot here in Florida it would literally melt! I usually just use a little light color lipstick and maybe some mascara.

I used to wear make up all the time. I'd make sure that I had some cover up and some mascara on all the time, just to look nice, and then I had a kid, and then I had another kid.. and now, I don't have time to put on real clothes during the day let alone make up. lol
Now, I wear make up if I'm going out somewhere.. grocery shopping, dr.'s appointments.. things like that are about the only places I wear make up.. make up on if I'm not leaving the hosue.. are you kidding me?? I'd have to get up at 4:30am in order to do that. lol

Rarely, but it has happened. I live with my parents and sister, so it isn't like I want to look nice for them. I mostly wear lip balm and lip gloss. Occasionally, I put on some colored lip gloss, and there have been times when I'm testing out some new looks and I'll apply eyeliner and eyeshadow, and I don't bother to take it off right away.
I might wear some lipstick if someone is coming over also.
When I get married, I can see myself putting on some eyeliner and lipstick for my husband

I usually won't put any makeup on if I am not leaving the house at all. My husband doesn't even like me to wear makeup, though I personally think I need it. I always wear it when I go out though...I don't like people seeing me without it.
