Has anyone here been able to find a legit paid to surf service? All of the ones I have seen have a really high payout(around one hundred dollars) and no one seems to be able to show proof of payment. Is searching for this type of program a lost cause or what?

There are many legitimate ones, however, you're making the standard mistake of assuming you can get rich with little to no effort. The sites that claim $100 per email read, or payouts of over $100, are ... to be put simply ... full of it. They will simply talk you into putting that money back into the site, and if you refuse, will just not pay you .. simple enough.
The only legitimate sites are the penny sites, those that will pay you a quarter cent for each read and the payout is usually around $5 .... they take a good deal of time for a very low payout.
The general rule about 'you never get something for nothing' applies in this case, too.

i too have an experience with surf, but ultimately they didn't pay me. i list $10 there. after that i did little bit research on surf pay sites and didn't a single good response. everyone is saying they faced problem. few are telling that they got paid, but looks like they paid an amount upfront before start getting.
