Spelling on MyLot, Do you use a dictionary?

When I first joined MyLot I read this discussion saying something about spelling and the people here should have their own language. I didn't understand at the time. Now I do. Do you use a dictionary? I didn't realize I was such a awful speller. Now I have a dictionary tab up but if I am in hurry I just keep on going. How about you?

I have a dictionary on my desktop. I usually do not feel the need to use it though. Its only when I'm not very sure of a spelling that i use a dictionary.

I don't. I'm pretty good with spelling. I make mistakes of course, but as myself, I find it a burden to sit and look up words and everything while online. But, if it works for you, then do it. I think it's all up to personal preference..now that I think about it, I'm surprised I don't keep one near by as I'm pretty anal about those things.

Actually, I do always have a tab with the Merriam-Webster Dictionary open. I don't like mis-spelling words either. Of course, there is a typo here and there. But if I can help to not spell a word wrong, then I will make sure that I look it up.

Nope in general. Only if I feel stifled by a certain word, then maybe.

i have a dictionary sitting on my desk. When I have all the time in the world to answer than I look up my words and try and look over my grammer. But when I am cooking and typing at the same time or watching the kids I tend to try and sound it out and get it as close as possible to what it should be and go on.

I have a spell check in my browser, so I hava spellcheck everywhere. It works great for me - I'm prone to little typoes and it saves me having to type up a response in another program and transfer over.

I use spelling correction at "outlook express" or "Word" I type my response there and check it for spelling first then i copy and paste it into mylot's response page. Mylot disabled the copy and paste feature for members less than 500 points but some members less than 500 points are still able to do this just the same. my spelling is mostly good but i find a few errors when I use the spelling corrections and it helps to give better responses.

Spelling it is. But how about grammar? I'm not an american myself and I have another language other than english as my native language but I always make sure that my sentences are understandable. To the others, please be considerate to the readers who are too kind to try and understand what you mean, even if it takes a rocket scientist to decode your language.
