I remember it so clearly. My first song I ever learned to play perfectly (although probably not the right speed) was I, The Throw Away by Matthew Good Band. It's just like arpeggiated chords but the chorus sounds really cool, even playing it now.

I think other than the basic first songs, the first song that was cool and I could play completely, was the Malaguena.
I wish I had more time to play guitar. It was really fun and I'd really like to play again. I'm always tempted to take Fridays off work so that I can join the guitar ensemble at college again.

hmm...i think, it was Just Take My Heart by Mr. Big. I could play the melody completely when I was in junior high school. but unfortunately, i never practice it anymore. ;) right now, i just playing guitar normally, i mean, without the whole melody :D

That would be love song from Tesla or Dee by Randy Rhodes both are very melodic tunes. I still play them from time to time

the first song that i learnt to play and which pleased my ears was "tears in heaven" by Eric Clapton,. beauty chords and tone in the song just love it eternally!!

The first song that i played was 4 Non-blondes' "What's Up" but the first melodious guitar song i played completely was Metallica's "Fade To Black". I fell in love with the song that's why i tried so hard to study it for at least two weeks before i played it completely.
