What do you feel are the keys to starting a successful internet business?

I've been developing new ideas for years on the internet. With domains and hosting being so cheap there is really low risk. I have alot of my own opinions, but what do you think are the main ingredients to starting a successful internet busines. Please explain your answer.

You must knowledge about internet business and shd have good amount of money to invest to start a successful business.

That's not true because I started my internet business with $20 and I made $400 my first month.

I would love to start a website and bring in some income but really I don't even know where to start or who to talk to.

I think you need to have a plan. It is so easy to get caught up in all the get rich quick scams and without a plan you could easily get sidetracked and not do what you need to do to make your money.
You need to have patience and persistence because if you do it right it will not happen overnight and you need to keep at it even with failures.
I also think you need to have a mailing list and treat your customers and visitors really well. In the end I think the mailing list will end up being your most valuable asset and will really help with extra sales.
There are actually a lot of things that are really needed and I am still learning them all but I will get it and will be extremely wealthy once I get it all down.
