Yes wikipedia is very good for finding any information about anything in the world. It is very descriptive is explaining about different things also it tells about different links related to a topic.

If I need a fast info, yes. It's very convenient, I have a built-in search bar of wikipedia embedded on my Firefox browser. But then wikipedia is open for everyone to edit(well, not all articles because some articles are locked due to vandalization)so I'm skeptical whether the accuracy of the information given on a wikipedia entry is accurate or not.

I like Wikipedia, but it isn't perfect. There is a lot of great information there, it is well organized, and there are plenty of links to other reference sources about the subject you are looking into. I have found it to be a bit inaccurate at times, especially regarding medical issues (which is what I know most about and usually look up), so I have to wonder if the inaccuracies are across the board. When researching a topic, I always use several sources anyways, so it's not a real big deal. If I see discrepancies in information, it is easy enough to sort it out.

i love using Wikipedia. it's very useful for searching informations, especially for students like me. i think i would consider Wikipedia as a student's best friend. for me, it has been very handy when i have to researches and homeworks. i can easily find facts from wikipedia. it has almost everything. but one down side of Wikipedia though, sometimes the facts are too overwhelming.it's sometimes difficult to pick out what information i actually need because of too many facts offered.

i cant say that its perfect, but it answers 99% of your queries correctly, i have taken valuable info from it from time to time and i feel its the best online enclycopedia you could ever get, however i prefer to use encarta 2006, as it has better material....

I really liked the website because it provides so many benefits for me. You don't have to bother buying an encyclopedia that is very thick material for your paper. In wikipedia, we can easily access all sorts of science. Thanks to wikipedia.

I alot of the times use Encarta for my encyclopedia. I've seen Wikipedia in the search engine results. But I've heard the articles are written sometimes by people who aren't really experts on the subject.

I love wikipedia, you can find almost everything on it. It can be very helpful to everyone, and to you. It is very good, that if I don't know something, I search it on wikipedia, and I find the answer to my question. And if I didn't find it, than here is mylot. :)
