our ps2 will only read the dvd rom games so we cant buy cheap games.I was told that if you play the games that are blue on the bottom your ps2 will get stuck on it and not play any other games so try to play all kinds of games.

Mine play all ps2 and ps1 games, if you don't want to spend a lot o money in the ps2 games, since the new genaration of consoles is starting, maybe you should try another type of approch about the games like swap magic or something like that.

i have never heard of that problem before. but all ps2's freeze at some point. usually though, if you stop playing, and turn your console off and wait for a few hours you should be good to go. thats just from personal experiences though.

The only problem I have with our ps2 is the thing that plugs into the bak that attaches to the powere supply does not work unless we put some weight on the cord , its weird lol i know but then again the kids have played that thing todeath i was wondering if ther was a way for us to clean out the outlets in back so that we wouldnt have to do this ?? i would try but i dont wanna break it caus if i did i think all the kids would go into shock LOL and then i would be mad cause i wouldnt be able to play my sims game , but hey if i get to play it more than once a month im happy LOL so yall know any tips for me ??

try a can of compressed air, you can buy it at any local store, and spray the air into the area that doesnt work. it might be that there is a collection of dust in the area, and it might need to be cleaned.
