Can anyone tell how many friend request they do get in day???

Let me start by answering you directly.. I do not get friend request on orkut daily.May be once a week or once a fortnight. But let me tell you that if you are a female,you do get appreciable amount of friend requests every day.On top of that,if you put up your pic and you are anywhere around decent looking,then I can assure you that you will be flooded by friend reqeusts from people who you dont even know.The same goes with scraps.People will keep on sending you scraps saying they want to be your friend,etc etc

I get 1 request every week. I mean if there are lot of other sites where we can make friends..i dont feel bad that i get less friend requests or less number of people accept my friend requests.

I hardly get any friends requests in orkut, but I get a pretty good number of friend requests in my lot. Till now I have around 50 friends in my lot and I get 1 or 2 friend requests a day. For me it's a good number..

This is not fixed.When i found my any old friend on orkut then i send request or vice versa.And if any new friend to whom i have met,he/she is my orkut friend.

I used to get a lot of friend requests on orkut when i had joined it but now it has gone down from 3 to 4 a day to 1 or 2 a week.
