i liked the newest version keira knightly was great, matthew macfayden was adorable i watched this movie several times and i can watch it again and again

The imagery in the Keira Knightly version is very lush, but the dialogue is rushed, and so it is more difficult to connect with the characters, unless you already know them. For me, the BBC version with Jennifer Ehle is most satisfying, because it takes the time to develop the characters. It has the rhythm of a real life communicated, if not actually followed in precision.

I loved the newest version. The older one is good, but very long. Keira Knightly is my favorite actress and she does great in this movie. It makes me want to fall in love again! Not to mention that Mr. Darcy is really hot. In fact, i think I am going to go watch it right now! Definately my favorite movie ever!

I thought I wouldn't like the newer version because I totally fell for the BBC/Colin Firth version. I love them both for different reasons. I think the new one was able to do the book justice. It was so much shorter than the older version, but yet I don't feel we were cheated.

I really enjoyed the Keira Knightly version. it's one of my favorite movies. I love the hate/love stories.

The BBC 1995 version with Colin Firth is surely my favourite one. It's my best loved English movie. I like everything about it: actors, staging, costumes, dances... Everything. Even the special English accent (not native English speakers will see my point :)) Frankly speaking, I didn't like that version you've mentioned at all. Sorry :)

I love this movie so much. Especially the original of BBC version! I have all the DVDs version of this movie (there are 3 versions, that are known by me). I like Elizabeth Bennett character and of course.. Mr Darcy. He is just adorable and she is such a strong woman.

I love the latest version rather than the earlier version of this classic novel. I have watched this movie quite a few times and think I will not get tired rewatching it again. Lovely scenery, beautiful soundtrack and the sequencing of the scenes were brilliant. It's the movie version that brought to life Elizabeth Bennet and her Mr. Darcy..

The newest one with Kiera Knightley! It was a good length, not so long that your whole day is gone! The end was simply amazing and made me sigh! I just love it when they're sitting outside his house and he kisses her all over her face saying, "Mrs. Darcy" then kisses her on the lips!
