Do You Believe In Love At First Sight ?

i believe in taking a better look. a person, at first, may strike you as a really really great person but as you get to know them better you end up finding that other side that you may not be able to know at first glance. i've been there. been really swept away at a glance by guys who looked nice and whom i've established a connection within just a span of minutes but the feeling doesn't really last. i think we should all be careful with who we fall in love with coz love may be like a vortex or a blackhole that sucks you in and leaves you defenseless. i fell for this seemingly perfect guy who turned out to be a jerk! what luck!

I don't believe in love at first site either. It is only a physical attraction. One cannot love someone they do not know. It takes time and friendship to really fall in love with another.

Oh I agree...I think you can be instantly attracted to someone, but I don't think there is such a thing as love at first sight. You're right when you say you have to get to know someone first.

I definitely believe in chemistry at first site, but definitely not love. To love someone, you have to know all their good and bad points--which is something that takes a lot of time, arguments, etc. to find out! Only when you completely and truly know someone can you love them.

I don't beleive in love at first sight. I don't beleive you can love someone you don't even know and this is just based on appearences. However i do beleive in lust at first sight.

Hi, I am with you on this. I do not believe in love at first sight. The whole physical aspect of falling for somebody is just too superficial. I do however believe that you can fall in love with someone without actually seeing them in person. This is how you actually get to know the person and what they are all about on the inside. WHich afterall...is the most important part. cheers,

love for me is a decision that you make after you get to know a person. i think that this love at first sight is bogus because you cannot really know a person at a glance. and the seemingly instant connection you have with that person is just plain attraction. attraction has to be drawn differently from love because if the relationship is just based on this attraction, when it fades as it eventually will, then the relationship loses its essence. love is about accepting the person for who he or she is and committing to that person through and through.
