Yeah..i heard that from my boyfriend too.He is from chennai.Although im not an indian citizen,i still concern about india too!
I feel soo bad too about reserving seats either for a job or for an education upon one's caste.Idia government shouldn't give that kind priority to caste since we are all one indian people.
It is totally unfair for reserving seats just because you are not from a high caste person.Allow everyone who worth to do that job or person who scores more in their exam would be better from my view.
I heard that Brahmins will get the highest chance in society since they are high class caste..I hope india government should should strongly band this kind of economical bckgrounds in order to develop india to grow rapidly in 2020.

brahmins don't get any sort of reservations. in fact they are being pushed back by the government's poilcies. it is the scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and backward classes people who get the reservations and they don't deserve it at all. when they were not able to improve themselves in 60 years of freedom, they can't do it, even in another hundred years.

Well, I do not know much about that to actually say for sure. But, if you disagree with it, I'm sure that you have a point there and I'd agree with you. They should be abolished like you said.

reservations in itself means reserving some seats for a candidate who cannot compete or not properly worth to that seat.reservation shud be banned not only in india but around the world if certain community is backward in some respect then govt. shud try to bring them up by providing them financial aides urbanising their place of living providing them some extra ameneties

All kind of reservations should be abolished.I (as a girl)get some sort of benefits from the reservations, still I don't want them.
What about economical background... do u think that all those enjoying reservation r from poorer background. We can get such certificate easily just for the sake of reservation though we r not facing ecomnomical crisis.
Everybody should get equal chance, based on the performance.But, I don't think it will happen atleast for next 50 years. Politician will certainly care about their vote bags.
