How often do you look at profiles?

I am wondering how much others are utilizing the search components of myLot. Are you one to check out the profiles of those you are responding to? How do you decide which discussions you are going to respond to? Do the profiles matter to you? What is the best profile you have seen on myLot? How often do you start a discussion from your interest or look up those with the same interests and respond to?

Once in a while, especially if the posterĀ“s discussion/comment has been a particularly good one, or when I suspect a spammer/fake profile.

Most times I check a profile before responding but just to see what country the poster is from. It often helps to understand the topic a bit better. I usually read throught the topics before I respond and if there are responses I will als read all of them. I can't remember the best profile that I have seen on MyLot ans I tend to be forgetful. I only start discussions when I can think of one, which is not very often and I never think of to check those with the same interests as myself. Mostly I just browse through the discussions and answer whatever topics suit me.

Thank you for the response. I have learned a lot by looking at others profiles. It tells you a little more about the person. I don't start as many discussions as I respond to. I find it easier to look up discussions from my interests to find better discussions and easier to repond to.

I check out people's profiles when they request to be my friends. It matters because I get to know the people a little bit. I respond to all my friends discussions. Whenever I can I start a discussion from my interests and respond to the discussion with one too.

I do the same thing. It helps to get to know the friends you have and the ones that want to your friends. Have you found that you get more or better responses when you start discussions from your interests? Have you used the interests to respond to discussions? Thank you for the response.

I like looking at profiles, there are so many people here from different parts of the world, with so many different jobs, experiences, etc. If someone looks interesting from their profile I may then add them as a friend, or respond to their discussions.
This makes it easier to find discussions to respond to, if I can find people with interests that are similar (or different--it's often fun to meet people from totally different walks of life from my own).

It looks like this feature is working for a lot of people. Thanks to myLot of adding features like this to help us out. Have you found other sites that work as hard for the members to earn money? It does help in keeping my interest in this site. Thanks for the response.

I don't look at profiles, except when somebody add me as friend but I don't look at all the time
I used to respond easy and interesting discussions, that is to say discussion which I immediately understand and which I have something to say, in other words I don't post much ^^

Thanks for the response. It's interesting to see how others think and do things. Why don't you post more often? What is the reason you are on myLot?
