Thats amazing! my niece just got a house and flooring is a huge problem! I may even suggest this for her. Love to see a picture of it though. It sounds cool! and sturdy and look no wood! but hey a leather look floor! going to try this in the small room or the toilet lol.

This looks pretty interesting, it would certainly be cheaper. I have to look into this a little more,we are remodeling and this may have a place in one of our rooms.

Wow. I dont own my home but you have just given me an idea for some cheap artwork. Brownbaging some different size blank canvas frames and setting it up as a feature wall. Might be nice. Well, at least I will know its unique!

I checked out the link, it sounds kind of cool, but I was disappointed that there were no pictures. I would not want to try something like that without getting a glimpse of the finished product. How would you remove it?

I saw this donr on HGTV a few month ago. It was really nice. The color depends onn the color of the paper bag.\s but why couldn't you color the bags before sealing them or when just putting them down. I want ot try a nice sturdy card board box.

That is just crazy! I love it. My husband has been looking for ways to redo the living room and this may just do the trick.

I once covered a shelf with this technique and it really did come out very nice. I didn't see a picture of the completed floor, so I am really wondering how it looked, I hate my kitchen floor, and I was thinking about using some type of inexpensive cover-up treatment. I think I am gonna keep this idea on the back burner...SS

I'm really going to have to look into this. Our flooring is pretty bland and not the greatest but redoing it on a budget is not easy. This might be something for us to do. Of course keeping animals and kids off the area won't be easy but it might be worth it.

I would try it maybe on a piece of wood or something first, to really see what it looks like and to get some practice....

Very good point. I probably would too. I know my brother said he did something similar with a bar he had up in Michigan and it looked great but I'd want to try it out on something safe first.
