Is cellphone is our basic necessity now?

For me the food is still the basic necessity of a man. Cellphone is only one of our necessity cause it helps us in our communications. but the number necessity of a man is Food to be alive.

yes u r right. cellphone is the basic necessity now for me as well for my most of the friends owning mobile phone. it is because of several reasons. first one being the comfortability to call anyone anytime. it is mobile and u can take it with u whereever u go. the other thing is that it helps to remain in touch and it is works as a watch for me and hence i have stopped wearing wrist watch.

I think for most of us, it is already a necessity. But on me, i can really live without it. because I still ave other means to communicate to my love ones who lives away from me.

Offcourse cell phones are becoming indipensible for our lives. In my town, there are so many people who use cell phones even many of them are not litrate. Its because its the need of the day.
