iTunes 7 installation problem

iTunes has been my primary media player for years now and I didn't have problems with running it. This morning, an iTunes upgrade alert popped up when I opened my iTunes so I downloaded it. I tried to upgrade my old version of iTunes, I am having problems on installing it. I didn't have installation problems with previous upgrades. I meet all the system requirements so I see no problem why I am having installation issues. Installation stops at Registering modules. I have a broadband connection so I think there's no problem with connecting to their server. Anyone who's also experiencing this problem? What can you advise me to do? I can't open iTunes now because the previous files were deleted during the installation. Also, I don't have an installer for the previous version. I have other players, but I like iTunes more, so until now, I am not thinking of switching to other media players. I only want the installation issues resolved. Thanks!

I did exactly just that but I still can't install the iTunes. If there's anyone of you who has the earlier version, kindly send me a message.
