You can play it on either, I personally prefer the Desktop because on a laptop there is no number pad and that's what I use most of the time. Plus I just don't like the mouse on a desktop. I am aware that you can get yourself a different mouse for a desktop that is just like a normal mouse just smaller but I still prefer a desktop.

yes, though if you're using a laptop I recommend considering an add-on mouse and/or keyboard. Keyboard is useful for the number pad availability, and there are a few features (ie. trying to dive) that with a touchpad is a pain and it's so much easier with another mouse attached.

Yes but you need a internet connection . World of Warcraft is the most played MMORPG in the world at this time. But another game that i recomand to you is Lineage 2 The Chaotic Cronicle it has a better graphics than World of Warcraft but you will have to play a lot to became a good plater .
