I have read in a magazine that adults who smoke heavily develop poorer memories in middle age. Also smokers who survive the biggest dangers - lung cancer and heart disease - may be at risk from dementia in old age. As conclusion I would say that this is not true smoking doesn't refresh your memory!

Actually some studies have shown that smoking can help the memory. You can read about it and some others at this link: http://www.forces.org/evidence/evid/therap.htm For myself it helps me relax but more importantly it keeps my blood pressure normal. When I don't smoke they want to put me on a blood pressure medicine but when I smoke it's right around 110/70, can't get better then that. I prefer to smoke then take a pill. For one I enjoy smoking but I also know the risks, the pill I don't always know the risks. Too often they found out a few years later that they should never have marketed the medicine.

Smoking too much can cause blindness. That is a stastisticle fact. Its temporay stress relief but then it comes back on you with so many health problems. You get alot of stress at that point.
