If you are tired, it is better for you to take a nap than to try to force yourself to stay awake and make things worse. I don't thinkt here is any proven scientific fact that states one is worse for you than the other, personally I think it is better to take a nap in the early afternoon - 10-15 minutes- to be refreshed for the rest of the day.

I believe another word for this is "power nap." Personally, I feel that it helps your body to have an extra bit of rest if you can work it in. I used to nap on my lunch hour when I worked in the "outside" world. It helped me get through the rest of the afternoon.

i think catnaps are good. we call them power naps. some 15 mins of sleep, not exceeding 30. good during lunch time i guess to recharge. problem is i dont fall asleep very easily outside.
if i sleep for like 2 hours it disorientates me. sometimes i get a headache, sometimes i feel kinda weird especially if i fall asleep during the day and wake up at night. i dont know what day it is!

it depends really, constant catnapping can mess up your natural sleep cycle which in turn can cause you to get sick more often. there is nothing wrong with the occassional nap during the day but if its too short then youll probably feel worse and if its too long you wont sleep through the night. just try to balance out your sleep schedule because being able to sleep through the night is always better for you and you feel more rested and energized.

A nap is a quick way to rejuvinate your body and relieve tension and stress. It is very healthy. Many push themselves until their body is dragged out. Taking a nap is best.

im rele not sure about tht one...i think it is pretty healthy myself...but some ppl might say tht this would mess up our body clock and our body would get confused about when to go to sleep. but to be honest i wud rather have a nap in the middle of the day and stay up later at night than stay awake through-out the whole day, and b in a mood early evening

I think if you feel sleepy, and are able to go to sleep (i.e. not at work - haha) then go for it. There are probably tons of theories on whether sleeping during the day is good for you or not, but at the end of the day I would say trust your body - if it's telling you to sleep then sleep. Afterall, our body tends to know what we want more than we do and I don't see how letting your body and mind rest can be bad for you.
