After everyones advice I thought I saw promise but after I got the nerve to tell her now I don't know where I stand for sure. She said she needs time to think about every thing I told her and not to call or come by untill she lets me know. Now the misery is sitting in.

Yea I thought I was ready and I have accepted the fact I am chaseing a ghost, but it cut me deep when she said we had to just be friends and nothing more ever. Guess we live and learn.

Just thought I'd let you know, since I read your advice a few times and it was instrumental in my decision to come clean so to speak, she doe's call me on occasion now but her requests of my time are now few and she does'nt ask me over as often. She also ask for my key to her house back, which I returned. Anyhow It's probably all for the good, even though I wish things were diferent and I was with her
