Among all the books he has written, I love this one the most. Do you think the plot is unique? What can you say about the book itself?

I've read most of Nicholas Sparks' books. They're all a little sappy and sweet but still I get hooked on them. I really liked A Walk to Remember (thought the book was better than the movie) and the Notebook and Message in a Bottle...I guess all the ones that were turned into movies. I want to read Dear John (his latest) but it's always checked out at the library.

hehe.. yeah... They are sort of sappy but I like the way he creates his stories. He's able to put a new twist to an otherwise old plot. I have almost all his books. Tell me if Dear John is up to par with the rest of his books. =)

I also think that this is my favorite of his books. A lot of his other books (I've read around 5 of them) are kind of boring and predictible, but my main problem with them is that I don't usually like the main characters all that much. But I do think that this is a great book, I wasn't expecting the ending at all. It was really heartwarming without being too corny!

I loved this book! At first I couldn't remember what it was about, but then it all came back to me! Very few books made me cry but this one did. I loved the ending and the events that were leading up to it that threw you off course! Excellent book! I think Nicholas Sparks is an excellent author and I just bought another one of his books, but I haven't had a chance to read it yet.

This is actually the second book by nicolas sparks that I read. First was Guardian. I think this book is great and actually is what definitely made Nicolas Sparks become my reading addicition. Although I can't say that any of his books are dull or boring.

Yes! I agree.. i didn't expect that this book will make me cry. I cannot hold back my tears when the wife came down the stairs in a lovely gown. It was so touching to know that the wedding was really for her and not for their daughter. It's really beautiful. I love it very much!!!
