It usually depends on how many pages the book has, for me. I've read a harlequin novel in under 3 hours, no interruptions. I read Dean Koontz's Brother odd in 24 hours, and I can remember reading the 3rd Harry Potter book within 9 hours. I'm not a speed reader, I just get *really* into books

I just finished Forever Odd by Dean Koontz. I am waiting for Brother Odd to be returned to the library! Was it as good as the other two Odd books? I read the whole Harry Potter series in two weeks. The Left Behind series was just as quick. I had my nose in one of those books every waking moment until I was through the entire set!

Two Women by Martina Cole. I was so engrossed in this book, I hated to have to put it down, it was an amazing read and the first book where I have actually felt like I am there watching the whole story unfold.

I'd have to say that the book that I have read the quickest would have to be Harry Potter and the half blood prince. I read it in 7 hours. Got it at like 1 AM that morning and finally finished it around 8AM that morning. I read it straight through, Only stopped to get a soda or something to drink or to use the restroom.

Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah by Richard Bach. One of my friends gave it to me, I sat down and just devoured it. It's kind of short, maybe 200 pages or so. Still, I'm pretty sure I read it within an hour. Then I flipped right back to the front and read it again slower, because it was just that good.
