I have kept one ever since I was about 7 years of age. I used to have a very hard time expressing myself verbally so I thought what better way to be able to take my time and sort through my thoughts then to write. When I was angry I would write letters to tell people how i felt. Do you keep a journal or something similiar?

I keep a blog, which I treat as my journal. I just customize the settings when I want the entry to be private. It's good exercise for my writing skills. Also, it's therapeutic.

I have started this habit from this year itself, and i am very thankful to myself for having don this. It helps me express my feeeling without the fear of misunderstanding or misinterpreting which can occur when we express them with others. It also makes me really know what i am thinking, as previouly i dont even knew my own feelings.

I used to keep an online journal and now I rarely bother with journaling. I really should get back to it because it was nice releasing my thoughts.

Yes I keep my journal. I have kept my journal ever since I was a kid. I had one because I just can't express myself with other people nor with my family because they just cannot understand. It's also my bestfriend because whenever I'm sad or mad, I always write it down and then feel comforted afterwards.

I have kept a journal for about 20 years. It is nice to go back and read both the good things and bad things that have happened in your life. It is a wonderful way to self-express, and purge yourself daily. To record how you feel at a moment in time.
Unfortunately, what troubles me, is what do I do with these things when I die. I am not sure I want my children/spouse/parents/friends reading them. Or do I?
Anyway, after this long, I have an entire bookshelf of them.
A journal is a photo albulm in word.

Yes I do although I don't write in it everyday. Just when I feel something had happened that I need to get out of my system whether it be good or bad.

Yes I keep a daily journal. This is so relaxing for me every morning or late at night. I have been doing this since the age of nine. I'll never give it up.
