Do you drink at least 8 glasses of water a day?

I don't.
I would estimate at around 4-5 glasses only.
If I'm not thirsty I tend to forget to drink water so I sometimes only remember to drink water during meals or when I get really thirsty.
How about you? Are you big on hydrating your body or do you drink less than 8 glasses too?

It took two weeks but I have slowly been building myself up. For the last 4 days I have drank at least 64 ounces of water each day. Before that I rarely drank water. I can feel an amazing difference in my body. My friend is a nurse and she said they actually recommend that you drink half of your body weight in water.

Yeah I think I ought to drink more water too... I also think that water therapy is good for the body, detoxifies the system and would also help lose some pounds..

I normally drink only about 4-5 glasses of water a day. I know this is wrong, we need more water than this to rehydrate ourselves and to wash the poisons from our bodies; however, I tend to forget to drink water when I am not eating.

I try to drink as much water as i can but like you i can estimate i think just about 4-5 glasses as well. My husband never fails to comemnt that it seems i dont drink any water at all. Or that he only notice me getting the water bottle once or twice and drinking 1/4 of it only while he was able to drink all of his. It just that i only drink when i am thristy, after perspiring alot and when i finish eating. I dont always drink minute by minute, maybe when i was younger i gulped down a pitcher of water in a day:P

Yeah me too. I am drinking less than 8 glasses of water.Only after food I drink water thats it. If at all I eat some sweets then I drink water otherwise I wont because I never felt thirsty often in a day. But I should increase the quantity anyway. Thanks for reminding.

I drink no where near the amount recommended but that does vary depending on the weather.
In the winter its very rare I drink any water at all, unless i'm not feeling very well, then I would drink around 2-3 pints to help flush out any bugs.
I tend to drink quite a bit more water in the summer to help keep my body cool, normally around 4-5 pints a day.

I carry a bottle of water with me everywhere I go. Unfortunately I don't tend to drink from it nearly as much as I should. I find I am more thirsty when I am out and about and really miss my water bottle if I don't bring it with me. I even bring my bottle in to Church with me. I know I don't drink as much as I should as I have been seeing an internal medicine doctor who is pushing me to drink more water... my own doctor has been on my case about it too for the last year. My water bottle is a Gatorade bottle so it is probably the equivalent of 2 cups.

I wish I could say yes, but I can't. I never drink water. I drink coffee by the gallons (well no, not really) but I don't think that counts towards water intake. I know I should try harder to get closer to the recommended amount, but I just don't like the taste of water. Should make a resolution I suppose to at least drink more juice because I know that would help, but...I really, really like my coffee, lol
