What is the best country to visit in Asia?

i personally feel that the best country to visit in Asia is India if someone is really looking out for experiencing diversity in one single nation. it has got, hills, valleys, beautiful beaches, glaciers, long rivers, mangrove forest, some rare species of flora and fauna, unique culture, and lots of colours.

for nature trippings and nice beaches, for me it has to be Philippines and Indonesia. but for good fun and great deals shopping, hongkong is the place to be.

Being a Filipino, of course I will say the Philippines. But after having been to some countries in Asia, I can say that each have something to be proud of. Thailand has beautiful beaches too. Pattaya, Ayuthaya and some other not so well known beaches that are private and not known to tourists. One thing I can't forget about Thailand are the countless temples. In Sukhumvit road alone, there are more than 1000 temples. And Thai food is great! ahhh! memories.

for me my country (Philippines) you know why, boracay is der? chocolate hills is der.

Maybe I'm being too cloché with the answer that I'm about to give, but I'd choose Japan. I think that I'd be quite amazed once in japanese solo by their high advanced technological and cultureal level, even if I'm not such a big fan of the country.

well i would say its india as i live in india and i have not seen any other country, well you might get a mixed responses in india, but its fun being here and i hope you will enjoy it

india, but it is good on culture wise.

for me its india as i am an indian... but i think even china is a nice place to be visited...

apart from the philippines (which is my homebase), i would also like to go visit thailand, singapore, malaysia and japan =)

I've always wanted to go to Thailand but can't afford it yet. But I've researched about it and it's neat that there are so many things to do there. Temples are interesting and fascinating, the malls are big and plentiful. Yes the beaches are breathtaking as well. I've only been to the Philippines where I was born. We have lots of beaches as well. Shopping is also good because a lot of things are cheap compared to the US. But the only things that are bad are: traffic, pollution and people who take advantage of tourists like taxi cabs... One other place I would like to see in Asia is Japan. I think it's the most advanced when it comes to technology. But it's too expensive to go there and it's so hard to get a tourist visa. I would like to see Tokyo Japan and their malls and perhaps Mt. Fuji.

I would love to go to thailand too...also Japan....Vietnam....actually anywhere you want to take me to lol..i love travelling and i would go anywhere as long as i knew it was safe.

I think every countries are the best, can't say which one is the best..each country has their own attractive and depend on what people like. like if you wanna see history, that'd be China, or shopping it maybe Hongkong. For me I'd like to visit my own country because I haven't visited all cities in here yet haha. Hongkong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan also interesting place though.

In asia, I've been to Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and China, but not Philippines yet, I hope some days I will have the chance to visit. I will choose Chang Mai in Thailand the best visiting place. The real massage keep me thinking of going again. Have you ever been to Singapore?
