Nail Polish...

hey!!!!!!!!!!!! personally, I've done like a french manicure at home by myself with like a different color to match my wardrobe. All you have to do is get some tape and place it on your fingers(leaving some space inorder to paint the tips) and then paint the tip whatever color you want. After it dries then you can use a clear coating. Umm other designs, I've done is made a little flower with dull pencil(or toothpick) and dipped it into the nail polish to do my design...Pokka dots, hearts, different colors.....Just use your imagination! Hope this helped!!! Nail polish will NOT hurt your nails at all. The main thing is to use a base coat before using nail polish. Base coat will protect your natural nail from staining and will also give hardening strength. When you put your polish on start w/ a very thin coat, it drys faster if it is thinner over too thick. let the polish dry for about 10 mins. than apply another thin coat and repeat until nail is the color it is supposed to be. A BIG mistake alot of people make is they apply very heavy at first and the polish take way way longer to dry and usually gets smudged. Also, use a top coat once your nails are the color desired, this helps polish stay on longer, prevents chipping and gives the nail a nice shine. Don't buy the fast speed drying polish, they get thich and clumpy fast. OPI is the absolute best polish on the line today. I paint them every now and again. I have some bronze polish I wear most often, and somewhere I supposedly have a bottle of red. It's just not something I think of much. I'm not much of a make up girl, usually. It never occurs to me to put any on half the time.
