New to mylot - need tips and advice on how to get started!

Welcome to myLot. You won't get a star until you have reached 100 points, basically 100 posts. The star number is based on how others rate your responses and your discussions. It you get + ratings your star # will be higher. Make sure your read the guidelines and FAQ's, they are the best way to understand how myLot works. But to give you a few pointers, always make sure that you reply to discussions that require more than a yes or no answer. Don't post discussions that are just a yes or no answer. Give thoughtful responses when you reply to a discussion. When people reply to your discussions, make sure and go back and comment on their reply, even if it is just to thank them, and also rate their response. (Don't give them a - just because you don't agree with their reply though.) You can also rate the discussions you reply to, the same goes. In your discussions make sure you choose a best response. Don't copy others discussions or answers. Set some goals for yourself, as to the number of posts you are going to make each day. If I can be of any more help, please let me know. You must post discussion which people think that it is so interesting. Also you must mark best response on every of you discussion so that people will always go to your discussion.
