Whom will you spend Valentines day with?
Do you celebrate valentines day? What do you think about valentines.
When I was younger like, when I was not yet married, this day seemed to be very interesting. My husband sends me flowers and chocolates, after marriage, I cant recall, a day he sent me flowers anymore. He does not even greet me on valentines day any more. What do you think?

My husband is so good to me, he always gives some Roses like 1 or 2 Red ones..1 rose really means more to me then a dozen..He also gets me a nice card and sometimes a small teddy bear that is for Valentines Day. 1 year he got me a real special gift,it was a heart full of diamonds. But I have to say he does get me something every year. And we have been together for 15 years, and married for 13 years...He is soooo good to me.

i am in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend so we will be chatting on that day. i will send him a small package and a card. i don't know about his surprise for me. but he always has loads of surprises for me.
i love valentine's day. it seems that everyone is so happy on that day. everyone so inlove.
as for you, if your husband forgets to even greet you, do the reverse psychology. greet him and buy him a card so he'll feel happy and won't forget the next valentine's day.

Great! Enjoy your valentine.
I believe though you are at a distance, you'd be connected, thanks for technology. Cherish these moments while you are so full of love.
Valentine will be prepared by me now, to just remember how it was like, when we were just like you, full of love.
Thanks!

I am sorry to hear this. I think that you should let him know exactly how you feel dear. Really, do it. And what do you do for him now?
I will be with my husband. We have been together 30 years. He will give me a beautiful card, and I will make him one, as I am an artist. I also bake him a heart shaped cake. He usually buys me a gift.
Please talk to your husband. He may not be aware that this is still important to you. Blessings, M&M

I like valentines day although I haven't received any flowers and chocolates from my husband. We usually have coffee and cakes in the coffee house. When my mother is still living we celebrate the day with her in her house eating cakes and icecream. We chat all the night telling childhood interesting story. How warm and fragrant were those days.

I will have to celebrate my valentines day alone because my sweetheart isn't living with me right now....But i don't feel that emotions should change after marriage...
For me everyday spent with my girl whether it be with her or talking to her on phone is equal to a valentines day.
I just celebrate it to express that love even more and just to make her realise how much do i love her and how much am i smitten by her charm
I think uf u try and bring back the scenario which was before ur marriage i think ur husband will change and will start loving u even more

yap, Thanks for that reminder, sometimes in married life we get in to a lot of things that valentine reminds us to reminiscence those days when life was just about the ones we love so dearly.

Valentines is a great day if you are in love.
But like Christmas, it is too commercialise and unless you spend a certain amount of money, you are told... "is this all you got me?"
When I was in love, I would get her a dozen red roses and took her to the restaurant in the evening.
My single life is a lot cheaper. lol

i will be spending it with my husband... i don't know yet whether he will be sending me flowers or not this year... but last year, he doesn't... he only takes me out to a nice restaurant... well, we have a limited budget and we don't want to spend a lot just for valentine's day... for us, evryday is valentine's day because we show our love towards each other everyday... not only on valentine's day...

It's certainly true that valentines day is a very special day for people who are in love. And true enough there was a time that your husband was aware of it and treated you to a dinner or bought you flowers and chocolates and so on. When you get married what happens is that your so occupied with work and all the other responsibilities that you just don't have the urge to take time off to do something special, do something out of the norm. I think this will change if you start making him feel extra special on this day and when he really feels it he will not forget to return the favor the next time this special day comes. Try it and see.....

I have no boy friend or husband so I spend it with my best friends we go out celebrating in any place we stay in a good party and that's all, but I feel that valentine day is not only for lovers it is the day of love, so if you love anyone even your family you'll celebrate with them because it is the simple meaning of love.

Even when I was still single, we don't usually celebrate valentine's day on feb 14. I just don't feel like joining the crowds, lining up in restaurants, crowding the malls, etc. We usually celebrate it either a day or two in advance or a day or two late. Now that we have a daugther, I plan to celebrate it with my daugther and my loving husband.
