Online Games: Good or Bad?

What do u think are the effects of online games to our kids? There are people or kids who play games suck Ragnarok or Warcraft and all , that take away their time for other play or studies and work. Is it good or bad to spend alot of times for these online games? Should kids play it? How long do u normally play such games in a day?

well games like neopets they are not good for your or our children because they want to get to the end and they forget everything else and just want to
beat the game and they spend hours and hours on it.

I think online games are good way of passing time,but it should not take most of the time. When a person start spending most of the time of work or personal life it is bad. I normally play games once in a week , that too around one hour.

Online games could be good if the parent monitors the child and gives them a time limit.Now if the parent does'nt care and just lets the child play or look at what they want then they are asking for trouble.

Here in the Philippines, alot of kids are addicted with online games. Stay all day in internet cafes. Some even choose to skip classes for it. Im not saying anything about how parents ignore it but that is how popular online games here. Im not saying either online games is bad but you're right, if its not monitored and parents dont monitor their kids, it results to skipping classes and addiction to it.

Yeah, i think the onlime games are kool way to enjoy the kids, the only bad thing i see its the addiction.
