Jennifer Strange 28 was found dead in her home hours after competing in a water drinking contest trying to win a Nintendo wii for her children.
The DJs knew that people could die of water intoxication and even had nurse call into the show and warn them to stop. But they just laughed it off and said they signed release forms so they couldn't get into trouble.
Where were the radio stations lawyers when all this was going on? I think the DJs should be tried for manslaughter and reckless endangerment charges.

they should be held acountable for something, they could have stop this contest, but refuse to do so,but i dont think manslaughter should be one of the charges, since she did sign the papers. unless they can find flaws in the paper she had sign.but they should be charged with reckless endangerment.or reckless homocied

Ive been following this story and have posted some comments about this as well as starting a discussion as well about it. As Im sure you know the radio hosts and some staff members were fired due to this incodent. From what else I know is that all of the contestants signed a waiver stating that if they felt ill or didnt want to continue that they would stop. I am sure that is what will save the DJ's from any jail sentance. This was an unfortunate Accident, and Im sure thats the way it will be approached as.
