Well, it's official. I'm not happy, I don't think she'll make a good president, and it has nothing to do with her gender. I do have to stop and think, we are in all this turmoil in the middle east, and they don't respece women much. Would it effect our global standings if we have a woman president? I am female btw...... so don't accuse me of gender bias.

I am sure that Hillary will do just fine as a president. There might be a problem with the world accepting a woman as a president, but I am confident that she will do just great and will do a fine job too.

From one woman to another, don't you think this country has tolerated the likes of the B ushes and the C lintons for long enough? My goodness, if ya go back to when Ole Daddy B ush was V.P. that was 1980...
Just say "No" to Billary is my new motto.

I am not an American, so will have no say in who is elected thankfully and generally I do not enter into political debates about other countries. However I do have to say that I do not think it will affect the global standing of the USA if they have a woman President.
Many of those countries in the middle east are not listening to America now, and more so the President, so I do not think that a woman will make your country any worse off in that regard. However in terms of the rest of the world, I strongly suspect that if a female was elected president that it would raise their opinion of the country. Many other countries have female Presidents or Heads of State and yet the country that claims to be the most democratic has never had one.

I wouldn't worry about it. I really don't think she has a chance. I don't see this country putting a woman into the White House. Just don't think we've come that far yet.

I'm all for a woman president.
BUT, I do not want Hillary to be it.
I don't like her, and I think she should've kicked that cheating husband of her's to the curb. "Standing by his side" does not make her a "strong" woman in my opinion.
In fact, to me, it's a weakness. (Maybe she was cheating, too.)
I wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw the Empire State building.
I hope to see Barack Obama up there instead.

I hate to say it but yes it would hurt our global standings, especially in the middle east where they do not value women as much as men. But I would love to have a woman running this country!!! Maybe the checkbook would get balanced and the laundry cleaned.!!

I think having a woman president would be wonderful. I don't think Hillary is the woman for the job, however. I do think she would be better than what we have now, but I can't think of many people that would not be.

I can't see how it would make a difference to Middle East opinion, and even if it would, we can't choose our president based on whether other countries will like their gender.
We've had devout Christians as presidents and other countries dealt with them whether they liked it or not.
Besides, we've had a woman (Condi Rice) as secretary of state for several years and she's been jetting all over the Muslim world on diplomatic visits. As did Madeline Albright when she was Bill Clinton's UN ambassador.

You are exactly right. I do not think she would make a good president either. As a female I also think that women are not cut out for these types of positions. Women tend to let personal feelings get in the way...or am I just speaking for myself? I couldn't imagine me being in charge and PMSing lol!

Hillary has some questionable associates and associations in her past, but she is one smart woman. She may get in, and I will be happy to see a woman president. It took from 1776 until 1920 for women to even be able to vote. Surely, a woman as President couldn't do any worse than the long line of male presidents before her? I will wait and see what her platform is though, to see if she fits my criteria.
