Cell phones and driving

Something that drives me crazy is people talking on their phones while they are driving. I've seen many accidents almost happen because somebody was too busy talking to pay attention to the road. What I really can't believe why soooo many people do it. Like its nothing. "Oh, Im in the car, I better call so and so." I wish people would please stay off the phone while your driving. It could save a life. How does everyone else feel? Or am I the only cell phone owner that stops to talk?

It is sad to know that there are a lot of stupid folks out there in the road, sometimes no matter how carefull you may be accidents can happen at any rate becuase others are too stupid or insensitive to the welfare of others, i seen a lot of accidents caused by such stupidity. I think traffic inforcers should arrest or there should be a law of some sort banning driviring while talking or texting the phone.

In some states there are laws. If you get caught they pull you over and you get a ticket.

I never talk on the cell while driving. I think it's incredibly dangerous. I've seen so many people driving recklessly while on the phone and I think it causes more accidents than anything else.

I can't say I agree with you. I talk and drive all the time. It's like talking on the phone is a part of driving. I agree its not the safest thing but I can talk and look at the road at the same time so I don't think its wrong. I'm sure some accidents are caused by people talking on the phone but those people shouldnt drive.

I totally agree with you. If they have to talk, they can buy a cell phone that has a speaker button and attach it to their visor. Otherwise, they should check their messages when they're not driving. Life is too short.

Thats exactly right! Blue tooth technology, lol...answer your phone from your steering wheel.
