Friends

No one can have too many friends, so if you would like to be added to my friend list, go to my profile and made an "add friend" request. And, perhaps you can post something about yourself here .. what one thing do you wish everyone really knew about you? (Keep it clean, please!) LOL

You are right that we cannot have too many friends on places like myLot but at the same time, there is no point in having someone on your list of friends if the friendship isn't mutually supportive. For example, I have not been to myLot much for the past couple of weeks due to other happenings in my life.
Each time I did come here I was inundated with requests for friends, so I accepted them all without doing any checking. Normally I would check out their discussions and a few of their responses to see if we have anything in common. Even if we don't, then I will usually accept the person on the basis that if I don't accept them, I could be missing out on a potential good friend.
So I started to go through these new friends in an attempt to respond to one or maybe two of their discussions - getting to each one in turn, so it will take a little time. In the past I have done the same thing, i.e. replied to discussions started by those on my friends list. So now I shall see what happens because I know from past experience that some will never respond to any of my discussions.
On that basis, why are they on my friends list and why did they request to be my friend in the first place? This is what I mean about friends being mutually supportive of each other and that sometimes yes you can have too many "friends" in a forum like myLot. Yes by all means have a lot of friends, but only at a level where you can help each other by responding to the discussions that each of you started. :)

Ah! yes! The dilemma of being a friend when the friend does not really behave supportively like a friend .. it is a difficult thing in life. However, I have many people on my friends list that do not seem to have any interests in common with me. Yet, occasionally they may come up with a topic for discussion I'm interested in, like one did this morning. So, I'm going to keep getting more and more friends on my list. My current goal is 500.

well I'm from wildersville tennessee! I like to fish camping send time outside baking and cooking and I love my husband very much! we been married for 10 years!

I moved to Georgia from the Pittsburgh area .. have already made a lot of great friends here, and plan on making more. And, my friends list on mylot.com is growing too.

There may be 2 answere yes or no...
but my answere is NO......But i like to have many friends, by which u can share each other thoughts and ideas.
But to share about you, is only to best friends....

Thank you for your response .. I'd like to better understand what you are saying. I think you are confused about the topic. We are not talking about day to day friends. We are talking about friends here at mylots.com.
And, I didn't ask you to tell some deep, dark secret about yourself .. I asked you to tell us something you really wished people knew / understand about you.

Hi danjenkins! I ask to add you as a friend when I saw your comment on my discussion about my star rating that was from 10 knocked to 7 and that was one of my worst week in myLot. I'm okay now and trying to put the pieces together.
I'm from the philippines and law student and I do posting on my spare time on myLot to earn extra and to observe various reasoning and ideas that will be beneficial on handling cases someday.
I can say I'm a creative person and really love to edit and designs photos and video to prove it you can check my profile page.
