It depends on how many tags are in place already. If there are tons of tags already, I don't bother adding unnecessary ones that would just clog up the search engine. If there aren't many tags, I do add them.

You definitly do get more of a quality post by adding tags and by rating the discussion and responses. It helps everyone in the end, by keeping myLot up and running.

No I do not skip the tags, but I do skip those occasional "Add to your interest" pages. I was just thinking I am starting to really dislike them. They seem to really slow down the posting. The tags don't bother me, near as much.

I always skip the tags. My reason? Well the reason is that tags aren't very useful i mean nobody uses the search engine-Proof? People posting the same discussions over and over.
Along with this all tags are always put so you don't really need to bother :P

I don't know but I would think any thing I could do even for just a little bit of exposure would be good. Like if someone sees my response at a discussion because of a tag posted to their discussion...they might see me, go to my page etc etc.
It does seem to slow me down , thats what got me thinking about it.

I'll sometimes skip tags is a) there are tons of posts already, or b) it is such a simple discussion that I can't really think of something different. Sometimes I do just put something obvious just to put something, even though I am sure its already there. But most of the time I do try.

I didn't used to put tags in but here lately I have been. My reasoning? That way it's easier to find my posts and maybe I'll earn more.

Not usually. I try to always put some sort of tag in there. It might only be one or two but I put a tag in. I figure it can't hurt to put them in. They have to be there for a reason so might as well use them.

I always tag my discussions. I think it does help earnings because if someone does a search for 'earnings' and you have tagged this post with 'earnings' then it will come up in their search and you are more likely to get a response. I get responses from discussions I started two months ago and I can only assume it is because of tagging.

Once it happened to me to press submit with making the tags. I try to insert tags since they are important keywords in a discussion

I always tag discussions that I start myself and I *try* to tag my responses within other people's discussions. I'll usually look at the tags that are already visible but if I can't think of anything more productive to contribute, I'll skip that step.

i will mostly try to give atleast one in my post.if i find any word which is very much related to the discussion then i will give even more than one for a single discussion.but on that time if nothing strikes my mind i will skip tagging.but it will be sure is of odd percentage.i believe tagging helps you to get more response as the search is based on tags.

When I start a discusiion I will put tags on them, but when I am respondeing to one I will only do it if I fell like there is room for more I have seen some discussion with like only one tag and I have added more to help them out and to get there discussion out there.

I have never skipped the tags so far! I always use some points I have mentioned in my response as the tag. I do that because, when the tags are included in our response, it says that we are sticking with the decision. So i think that sometimes it may be helping me earn better. So why should I let that chance go...LOL
