Tell me the Good Configuration...........!!!

My friend asked me to suggest him the configuration that he can buy the P.C. i taught og telling him the AMD Athlon dual Processor that has been released recently....before telling him that i taught i hould ask someone else to confirm that...wat do u say...is AMD Athlon dual Processor good?.....should i suggest him that or rather prefer him to go for Intel dual Processor...

My husband thinks you should go for Intel dual processor because it's more energy efficient and stable. He also thinks that your friend should get a Mac because you get get both in one. He knows more about computers than I do, so I asked for his opinion. I hope this is helpful.
