I think that it is part of New York's culture. A lot of people in New York has that in-born toughness and agressiveness. New Yorkers are tough. And cursing is like a daily habit to them. If you don't curse, you ain't from New York.

I guess you are right. I always noticed that all people from New York has the attitude and toughness. Maybe it is like the trend there, I think it is a trademark for New Yorkers.

Now you know and I know that the people in New York doesn't curse no more then any other state of people. I know because I've traveled and lived other places. Have you heard the language coming out of the mouth of Texans? Honey it's a mess! Every state has some cuss boxes! So don't get it twisted Miss Thing! It's obvious that you haven't been to many places. New Orleans, California, has some serious cuss boxes. I don't like throwing up states out in the open like this either but you would be so surprised how New Yorkers have calm down since 911. So let it go and leave New York out of your vocabulary so that they can continue to heal!
PS: vaughndhu...Since you wrote that negative statement about New Jersey I'll say this to you....."Please go do a duck!"
ahppy mylot day.
