Which spice/herb do you love ? My favourite is cumin seed. Black pepper is next.

I like to cook with cumin seed and black pepper seeds. I find the aroma of freshly roasted cumin seed very tempting. I also keep some roasted and powdered cuminseed ready to use when I am in hurry. A simple rice and lentil dish cooked with cumin seed powder and black pepper powder, with salt to taste is yummy .

for me it's black pepper --- i could hardly get by without it. and thanks to your post, i did a little research about black pepper and i found out that aside from improving the flavor of the food, black pepper also aids in digestion and actually helps condition of the digestive system and intestines.

i like all herbs but i like most is Cinnemon stick and Cloves.... they are so arromatic and they have other significant quality which make them super hero in my list.... i also like oregano aswell.
