I have to cook almost every day. For my dad, and two brothers. If I don't they will eat out a lot, and that isn't healthy. My dad likes home cooked food better than going out. When I don't have time to cook we go out to eat, or get something from a restaurant.

I pretty much cook every night from scratch but try and prepare some stuff the night before and plan the meals for the week (that is also with holding down a job, home, husband and toddler), one night of the week we go to my mom's and occasional weekends we get takeaways, in honesty I do like to cook and enjoy my food as does my husband, but hey if we could afford it, it would be takeaways or pub or restaurants more often as I get sick of thinking what to cook each night and it's time consuming when you've got alot of other things to do. Mmmm, think I could have chinese takeaway tonight, mmm I wish but can't cos Im on a diet boohoo, so cooking each night is even worse becuase I have to think about the fat and calorie content. Anyway I think I might have over answered your question haha. Bon appetit!

One of my heroes is Emeril from the food network. So I am always in the kitchen cooking up some new recipe that I have seen. generally everything I cook my family enjoys but on occasion they do find a dish not to their liking. We live on a tight budget and cooking at home is cheaper than eating out or purchasing convenience type foods.

damn, i hate emeril. but that's off topic. I cook pretty much everyday. I love to cook and rarely find restaurants that are actually worth the money plus my wife and I are trying to save money.

I cook almost every meal at home for my family. We go out to eat on special occasions only. When time is very short, and I don't all ready have my own homemade convenience food, I will buy a ready made meal from the grocery store......usually it's frozen pizza and it's considered a treat.

Me too, it is nice when we cook together, which is rare. And, I like when he cooks by himself, which is even rarer ;)

The most cooking I've done so far today was popping two Eggos in the toaster.

Also, I like to eat my friend's and family member's cooking, because they can teach me different things and different ways to make the same things. ;)

I usually cook for my hubby and myself, because we are not that big on eating out. If we eat out too many days in the week (when we are really busy, and when there is no time for either of us to make anything), we start to feel a little unwell and we long for a real meal. My sisters live near my mother and so they usually eat there. Sometimes, when I need a break, then we go out, or my hubby and I( or just him) make something simple...

I'm thinking about cooking but I am not sure if I really want to. I may just eat something quick that I can heat up in the microwave. I just depends on how I will feel in a few hours.

i live alone and therefore I have to do the shopping, to prepare the meals, to do the washing up and so on by myself...nobody is supposed to do this for me.. I love cooking but I don't like cooking for myself ..the fact is that I like cooking for people I love...therefore as soon as I can, I like having my friends at home so to prepare something good for them...and every time I go home and visit my parents I like cooking for them or cooking with my mother as I did when I was at home with her...Cooking is a sort of loving action...I remember the mornings spent in the kitchen with my mother and grandmother..this are special moments I keep in my heart...of course I like going out with friends sometimes, too..but think how funny is to prepare something together...pouring milk and sugar and making a funny mess and then tasting everything together....
