Do you try to change other people around you?

It maybe just me, but I hate it when I hear how women try to change men or when men try to change women. I believe that when two people get together then you get what you get.If you didn't like the way the person act when you got together than why did you stay with them in the first place? In my opinon, I believe that a person will be who they are no matter what others try to do to make them different. One of my friends seems to think that I am wrong. What do you think about it?

One should never try to change another person. You can show him a direction. If he feels like following, then he'll do it. Never push someone to do things that are just not coming from inside.
It's that much wrong to try to change the person closest to you. Especially if you know each other well. If you love someone and try to change him... then it better be like the first thing I've said. Otherwise - that is just not love. Love the person next to you FOR WHO THEY ARE.

I dont know why peolpe want to change others to fit their definition of how they should be. I agree with you that when you decide to be in a relationship with someone that you decided to be with them and all of them. Their bad habits good, extra issues before you came alone, and any other thing that they have going on in their lives.

I think everyone is trying to change someone or something,he/she doesn't approve or like.I have tried to change my best friend and this was for her good and happiness and I think I did it very well.I think there is something in everyone which has to be changed for better.
