I have start numerous discussions on MyLots and some have been great hits and I received a lot of feedback and others, well apparently they suck!
Tell me what you like to discuss, what you are looking to get out of your MyLot membership.

The way I search for discussions to reply to is first, I check on discussions that my friends post and see what interests me. Second, I look at my interests and see when the last post was for each one listed. Some of my interests are day to day issues, parenting, internet, sports, and then the all mighty myLot discussions.
I think that myLot is a great community that allows people to find people with the same interests / issues and discuss them in a safe environment.

I like discussing topics about kids, giving advice, telling similar situations. I don't get out of the house much so taking care of my kids is what I do best. I also like to talk about family, relationships, hobbies, school(college), and other mommy stuff. I don't really respond to a discussion unless I have some valid input for the person or if I relate to it. I don't want to post a response to a discussion if it really doesn't interest me.

Don't get panic.
It's not necessory to other sto respond you all the time do you know there are 62000 mylot users here.
What if every sends ten discussions daily for ten consecutive days?
the total discussions would be arround 6,200,000 ! OK?
So my dear friend if you don't have a strong reading back ground you will not be able to post many best discussions.
So just make a habit of responding others discussions all the time unless you hit some good discussion in your mind.
keep a ratio of responces to discussions as 50 : 1
OK?
