How do you prefer your seafood to be cooked? Do you like fried, boiled or broiled?
I live in the south where everything is cooked all ways but leaning towards fried. I prefer all three myself and it really depends on the type of seafood.
What do you like?

Do I have to choose one of these options? If so probably broiled... but over here in the Northwest, I like it baked more than anything else. Some baked halibut or Salmon sounds really good right about now. Although I would love some Scallops... :)

Hmmm.. I think I'm confused. My salmon and tuna (The only seafood I like) are always grilled! That's my fav :) Most places make it so good I don't even need to dip it in anything.
At home, I cook salmon on the stove with a little butter and seasoning - is that broiled? I really don't know the terms.
The third way I've made salmon is in the oven, drenched in italian dressing. What is that? Baked?

I really have to agree with you, it depends on the type of seafood, because there are just some things that I prefer cooked a certain way. I have learned though, that fish is the main one that can be cooked all three ways, and still be remotely edible. Other things, are just better one way. I am not from the south (the west, hence the name), but I love southern cooking...I love fried fish, shrimp creole, boiled crab and lobster, etc...there are lots of good things...my family tend to broil their fish...I love the tilapia in a bag recipe it is so tasty. And there are others. Man am I getting hungry.

I like fish if it's baked or deep fried. Shrimp if it's boiled or deepfried and that's the extent of the seafood I will eat. :) I used to eat it all but just recently started to be able to eat fish and shrimp again after a serious revulsion to it while pregnant with my eldest LOL he is 16 years old now!

I am from the South so that must be why I like all three. I have always eaten seafood friend, then I got older and discovered broiled. I am sure I ate a lot of boiled too, but never noticed. LOL I try to stay away from fried now, so I am glad it can be eaten other ways and still taste GOOD!

Most of the time just pan fried with some butter and garlic. Shrimp, I can eat that pretty much any way under the sun. Talapia (I think I spelled it right) is great fried in a light breading with some good tartar sauce. Now I want some Long John Silvers!

I guess I'm no help to you on this one. I can't stand seafood! lol I will eat baked cod but only from one place, and it's a local restaurant back home. I can't even stand the smell when we walk by the fish section of the grocery store. Luckily my husband is the same way. He will eat deep fried shrimp, but that's it.

all are very good to me - out of the choices you give I would go with broiled - I like pan fried a lot (especially with blackened spices) but do not care much for deep fat fried. My favorite, however, would likely be a choice you have not given in this discussion and that is Grilled.

I love barbecued seafood, grilled or lightly fried. The less added to seafood the better...a little bit of lemon is fine with me. Oysters I prefer au natural with a bit of lemon juice. Prawns I like with lemon or chilli.

I don't eat seafood too much. The only two things I really like are scallops and lobster. I don't like scallops deep fried because it takes away from the taste. I like them sauteed and I like my lobster broiled. My husband likes his haddock baked and his scallops fried.

I like seafood, period. Anyway I can get them without having to cook them myself, that is! That's where my moniker came from-- seagoddess the seafood monster...LOL! I do love raw oysters, though. They're the only ones I would eat raw. Wait, I lied. I like sushi and sashimi too! Yum, yum.... :-0

This totally depends on the seafood. If its shellfish like lobster, clams, musscles then I like that boiled/steamed. I love salmon cooked out on the grill its totally yummy that way!
