Limewire ! It is safe to download from Limewire?

I tried downloading from Limewire once but my computer kept setting up firewalls that wouldn't let the program through. My suggestion is to go to forums that have informations about it and other programs before you actually start. I downloaded from Morpheus but I dont think that program is still running. My friend downloads from Arial or Aries, something of that sort. But go ahead and look for other programs. But if your computer allows it I don't see why not.

I use Limewire Pro and I have never had a problem with anything. On top of that, you always have to be careful whenever you download anything from ANYWHERE. It doesn't matter if it's from Limewire or from somewhere. Always make sure you have an anti-virus software running all the time and always scan your software before you run it.

Well, Limewire realy is a great p2p software. But it is also true that lots of viruses are floating around Limewire space. Just b careful hen downloading and don't open suspicious files off of Limewire. =)

But does Limewire is safe unough from spyware ?

no its illegal never download illegal stuff from there according to me

I Have been using limewire for a while now, The searches are pretty fast and there are no broken links, there is a risk of downloading a virus if you don't have knoweledge about the type of file you are downloading, I usually scan the file after downloading it before executing the file.

it is safe to download from lime wire and i've been using it for sometime without any problems but you should be careful when opening files you've downloaded, thye might contain virus in them, the best thing to do would be to virus scan them prior to opening any downloaded file.

I don't think any p2p method to download things is safe.I used to use limewire but stopped it.

have been using limewire had no problem whats so ever the quality of downloads are awesome should go forward with this one there are many other site for downloading but don't think anyone will be as good as this one

well,I won't say it is safe because limewire is p2p software(peer-to-peer).we actually share our file from other user machine.its file sharing software and its open your machine port.anyways it is used to download high MB software and program.install some good anti virus like AVG which has online monitor .

I use Limewire pro and all my downloaded files are ok. I'm using Limewire over the year and never get any virus or trojan horse. All files are right and working. Really good program i must say. Offcourse its not 100% safe. Just look what you are downloading and be sure that you have good antivirus software.
