Having a goal

Actually up to now I am still not sure how myLot rates our discussions and what carries more weight with them. I just give whatever I can during whatever time I have in myLot and just accept what they give me. But sometimes I do try to hit a target of the number of posts I would like to be able to do before I log out. I would of course like to know that I will be able to earn a certain amount each day but like I say I don't know how it is done. Do you?

Lol yes I do but then I don't get on here as much as I have to do this and then that and then they want me to take them somewhere or I am just to tired and have to go to bed lol but I try my best lol

I don't really have a goal when it comes to earning money on Mylot, on average I earn about $1 day, but I'm more interested in the friends I make, and making sure I respond to my friend's discussions and have my say. If you start setting yourself goals and you miss them you can get disappointed and that takes the edge of the site. I don't want this site to become a chore, it's a hobby, but when it becomes a chore to do then it loses the interest. I do whatever and whenever, if I fancy having time out then I'll have time out, so there is no target to reach each day.

well my first gola in mylot was to make 25 dollars a day:)it make me smile when i remmember it...i make 50-60 cents a day..i would like to make more but i dont know how..i write 50 -80 posts a day and my earnings are still so low:)but i dont give up!now i made like more normal goal..i want ot make 1,5 dollar a day:)

Well i spend around 2 hours a day on my lot so my gaol is to make arouund 20-25 good quality posts... Thats good enough to fetch me around 40 to 50 cents.... There are times wheni get less than that but there are also times when i get more than that.... Cheers!!!!!

I simply keep it at same rate with regards to posting responses. On the other hand setting goal for me is that of bringing more referrals, because it is where you will surely see a better chance to earn bigger everyday, with their effort.

No, I don´t try to beat the earnings. How can I set up a goal of let´s say making 50 posts, if I don´t if I´m going to find enough discussion where I can make a quality comment?

I cannot figure out this structure of payment anymore. So, I just post and respond as the time allows. No goals anymore.

Man I just try to get a little done on here... I really like you guys. So earnings for me is not really a huge thing. But it is nice to have it. I should try one day to make a ton. BUt I have not figured a way out to make more then one dollar. Go figure. Leave it to me to a little slow at this. HAve a good night... hope you enjyed Lost.

I was doing thid in the beginning but now it seems it is harder to make as much as we did. The bigger we get the less we get paid for our post. I now just try to maintain my 40 post a day. I have found my brain gets tired after the 40 mark, so that is all I am going to strive for.

It depends on the free time I have, of course I try to beat the last day earnings everyday but somedays I just don't have time to post as much as I would want to do so even though I'd like to do it sometimes I can't.

nah i dont have such goals.I just post till o get bored..It is not a fixed number but its really interesting to read some topics here at myLot™

yea i think it is encouraging that your previous posts are rewarded, so we do aim to surpass our achievements the previous days. however, the rewards system is not really in our control and the pointing system algorithm is really hard to decipher. but the point here is to have fun, so just put behind your frustrations and keep on posting.

LOL I thought I was the only one who did this. I am new, I have only been here 2 weeks and 1 day. I do try to beat my earnings from the day before. Some days, I do it and other days I do not but it is fun trying. I was sick for a couple days and unable to get online. I hated it when I saw the earnings. I felt like I had failed my job! I am the kind of person who gives everything that I do, my best. LOL

Well, it depends on the amount of time that I have to come in here and post. There are many days that I know there is No way I can beat what I did the day before, because maybe I had 3 hrs. I could spend in here compared to 1 the next day. And then sometimes I look to see I only earned maybe 25 cents the day before, and push myself to at least hope to make .50 the next day on here. Yes, I have been here quite a while posting in here, but I also have a Full time job, so a lot of the time, I do what I can, and then go from there.

I have to admit, that yes, there are some days, when I try to beat what I earned the day before, especially if I know that I have extra time ahead of me that day. I try to maintain a certain number of posts each day though. I don't always do it, but at least I try.
