Hi, I always rate posts ! Most of the time i rate them positive ! But if someone flood, i rate him negative. I have given you a + rating :).

usually i will rate the response to my discussions with always a plus and will choose a best response.sometimes i will select the topic or response of other discussions also even if i am not responding in that.will give negative rarely if i find any response which is not at all related or a spam.

I do rate positively often to those responses that contribute to the discussion. I also on rare occasion rated negatively to those that are truly not addressing the topic that is discussed. I also always rate those reses to discussions that I initiate as that is what make myLot so successful.

For the most part, I just ignore rating people. If I see someone that is especially rude or beligerent I'll give them a minus or if I'm really blown away by how profound a post is I'll give it a plus. I've seen people start up posts just to encourage everyone to give people negative ratings because they don't agree with what someone said. I don't like to get involved in all that.

Yes, I do rate all discussions that i comment on. I also rate the people who comment on my discussions. If they have took the time to read my discussion and comment I give them a positive. Even if I disagree with their comment. I still give them a positve. I try to comment and rate all my friends discussions also.

I don't rate users post in other discussions as I leave that with the topic starter but I do rate the ones who respond to my discussions. During my first month on mylot, I rated positive to those with relevant and honest post and negative for thos who give a word or one liner response but now I don't get responses with just a word or a one liner so I more often give them a positive rating. It's the least thing I can do for them providing me with a well thought of response.

Yes I do this most of the times.... If I like discussions then it is positive.. I rate negative only those discussions which are meaningless/....

i do rate people too. i rate the good ones with positive and the bad comments with negative.

i do rate people only if i think the post deserves a positive post, i dont want to be negative so dont give negatives.

If someone puts something crap like 'I don't know' I'll give them a negative rating. I give a positive if someones put effort into their post and its of a decent length (about 5+ lines at least). If someones just done 2-3 lines I don't bother.

Funny you should mentioned it I justed started doing it. Its alot of fun I guess we will find out if get anything extra for it.

Sometimes i rate people response. I give + for them who was doing a great job which give good quality response. They have think and share what they thought in my discussion, so i have to appreciate them. I rarely give people -, because i don't want them to get bad rating because of me. Although their response is not good and i don;t disagree with them unless they make such response which made me mad.

I don't rate negatives. I just rate if I think someone had something useful to say or as long as it wasn't someone being mean. If I don't like the response I just pass it up and go to the next one. Same thing when I comment. I only comment when someone is being nice or giving something useful if not then it gets passed up also. :)

I give minuses to people that very obviously didn't read the topic in it's entirety or if I just plain can't decipher what they were trying to say. Otherwise I usually give pluses.
